The word of God declares, “What is man that thou are mindful of Him or the son of man that you take care of him? You have made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with GLORY and HONOR and set him over the works of your hands”.  Hebrews 2:6-9

Most often, the emphasis of the body of Christ is GLORY…I believe HONOR is a mighty spiritual weapon also.

In this teaching, I want to focus on the blessings associated with the development of this character trait of the King in our lives.  I want to declare, the willingness to become a man or woman of honor has attached to it significant natural blessings for us and our generations!

Honor is a KEY component to several blessings that can come into our lives when it is practiced.

Let me once again define HONOR:   to hold in high respect; to revere. To confer distinction upon. To show a courteous regard for. To honor one’s worth.

In order to release this virtue, it must be practiced in relation to other people and most importantly, the Lord. Let’s see some blessings attached to honor:

Proverbs 3:16         Honor is a key character trait associated with wisdom and riches.

If we are going to be people who function wisely and have money we are going to have to learn to show respect for others and value others. When we do not practice these traits, we will be foolish and often times suffer lack.

Proverbs 8:18          Honor is associated with riches, wisdom and righteousness.

The scriptures continue to connect being honorable and doing what is right, behaving wisely and having wealth.

Proverbs15:33          Humility must be developed before Honor will manifest.

The scriptures seem to infer that in order to walk in honor, we must pursue humility. No humility, no honor. No honor, No righteousness. No righteousness. No wisdom. No wisdom NO WEALTH!

Proverbs 22:4          Humility, Fear of the Lord, riches and honor are connected.

In order to operate in the proper reverence and adoration towards the Lord, it takes humility.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. To not honor or respect the words that come from God is an act of foolishness. It then produces a dishonorable heart that ultimately causes people not to want to make you their favorite. We we don’t have favor with God…life becomes decidedly difficult. The word works together. If I practice releasing honor other aspects of my spiritual walk must be developed. It is not possible to be honorable without humility.

Proverbs 21:21       Honor follows righteousness and mercy.

Honor is on a couple of occasions connected with life and long life. Mean, angry and unforgiving people generally do not do what is right and do not usually inspire merciful thoughts from others. They also tend to be more sickly chronically.

1Thessalonians 4:1-5.      Honor is needed to possess the body and keep it from fornication.

When we have high regard for our bodies being temples of the Holy Spirit and esteem highly God’s instruction on covenant it will provide the voice of reason when we are challenged with sexual temptations.

Ephesians 6:2-3              Honor is tied to long life.

Proverbs 3:9.                       Honor is needed to obey in Giving

Without proper respect, humility and honor for God’s instruction…. we will suffer lack. Generosity is the God way to prosper with finances. When you can break the power of money to control your living… you will really be living prosperously. God is the Great giver who gives His best and we are to walk in His image and His likeness. Tithing is the way we communicate to God we honor and value His providential provision. Those who do not tithe are really depending on themselves for their existence. To tithe and give sacrificially puts us in a dependent position to see God show Himself as our true provider. This cannot be done without high regard for His person and character.

These are a few of the blessings of honor. As we develop this weapon, we will see many good things come our way.

You and I are Kings and Priests unto God and we have been crowned with glory and HONOR.

Purposely releasing honor opens the door for: Fear of the Lord, humility, wisdom, righteousness, mercy, riches and long life.  Use your weapons wisely and keep advancing His heart!

A friend of mine and I were having a discussion about him teaching on the subject of iniquity. While we were talking, the Spirit of the Lord began to open my understanding (the ability to perceive the significance of a thing) helping me to take another look at what transpired in the fall of Lucifer. He created a kingdom totally opposed to the Kingdom of God.
I want to release this revelation in hopes that it helps you to live with purpose rejecting the desire to live by a definition of Love that is less than the nature of God.

I am a eternal being, who lives supernaturally through this human body. To release the government of God in the earth means, we live by heavens eternal principles NOW in the earth. I believe you are too eternal and supernaturally living through your body, those who are in covenant with Christ. The Kingdom is advancing now, the heart of the King must rule within us.

God is Love. The scriptures declare this quite powerfully. Love is NOT a PART of His nature it IS HIS NATURE! HE (Father) is totally unconditional and selfless in all of His dealings with all of His creation. Lucifer was created by LOVE (GOD) yet, because iniquity was found in Him, he rebelled against LOVE (GOD) and created a form love from his own image and thus a whole group of followers who love like him and not the Father’s love.

Iniquity, from the Hebrew word avon, means to have a nature that is bent or crooked; perverse or wrung out of course. Iniquity caused Lucifer to see LOVE (God) from a twisted perspective. All humanity was born with a nature that misses the mark (sin) of the GLORY (perfect brightness and weight of the unconditional selfless Love of God Almighty.

Thank God for Christ, who redeemed us from iniquity and sin. We have been returned to the place of glory and honor seated at the right hand of the Father. Yet, many believers, who still sin regularly overlook the connection between iniquity and sin. The internal, bent, crooked thinking that proceeds missing the mark of God’s love and choosing a selfish, self-serving action which hurts another. We must meditate the words of God to keep a correct view of God.

When iniquity is in the heart of a person, they have no capacity to recognize when they are being loved. In fact, they set out to form love on their own terms (idolatry) apart from God’s love.

Because iniquity was in his heart, Lucifer manifested the covenant breaking spirit of insecurity (which led to idolatry) and did not see Jehovah as loving him, but now felt the need to compare himself and compete with the Lord.

God is the covenant keeping King and a insecure person will never keep covenant with God because their view of Him as Love is twisted and perverse.

Lucifer, because of insecurity, now decides to enter into the Lord’s presence at his whim (I will ascend into heaven) is discontent with his present place of service and sees himself above all other sons (I will exalt my throne above the stars of God and in fact sees himself equal to God Himself (I will be like the Most High).

These attributes are often seen in insecure people, who do not walk in the love of God but love created by iniquity( a bent view of love). No honor, competition, arrogance not preferring others and equal to the “set man”. This happens among ministry gifts, pastors and others who serve in governmental ministry in Christ’s church. When iniquity is in the heart of men, unity is not reachable. Covenant love is the life force of the Kingdom, through genuine love relationships.

When a person is living out of an insecure personality it becomes difficult for them to obey the word of God. It makes us live out of actions that do not promote reconciliation and forgiveness or mercy, but compete to destroy. Iniquity is at the root of rebellion against the Love of God.

After Lucifer is kicked out of heaven, his covenant breaking insecurity seduces 1/3 of the angelic host to believe in another type of love other than Father’s love. They break covenant with God and heaven. He then encounters God’s creation Adam (mankind) and seduces them into believing God was withholding something good from them (He knows if you eat of the tree, you will be like Him!) Eve’s insecurity did not permit her to see SHE WAS ALREADY MADE LIKE HIM, with dominion! So, she chose to love herself and ate. Adam broke covenant with God because of his insecurity and it caused him to hide himself and be afraid of communion with God. Iniquity in the hearts of leaders, make them hide who they really are because of reputation which is outside the pattern of CHRIST (LOVE). It cannot produce covenant. Iniquity is the doorway to insecurity a covenant breaking spirit!

It is difficult to get people, especially leaders, together to do anything to advance a demonstration of the heart of the King by love when iniquity is in the heart. The unspoken bent or crooked way we look at another instead of being merciful and truthful towards reconciliation, redemption and honor and preferring another better than ourselves will always hinder kingdom building in a locale, region or even globally.

King David was keenly aware of what advanced the King’s heart! Psalm 5:1b, consider my meditation… Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight…when my internal thoughts nobody sees are bent or perverse, my love will be that which I create not the LOVE of God.

Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Jesus declares at the close of the old covenant, which shall be signified by the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple, the connection between iniquity (bent, crooked and perverse love) an cold love. Cold love is not the Father’s love…it is rebellion to God’s merciful love.

Jeremiah 31:31-34 declared the love of God, in announcing the Father’s intention through the new covenant: I will forgive their INIQUITY and I will remember their sin no more.

Joshua, was told by God to meditate day and night in the law of God, which would give him COURAGE to obey and make his way prosperous and have good success. Meditating in the word reminds us of HOW LOVE (GOD) operates. A proper view of God overcomes insecurity and permits us to respond out of obedience to His love and not our own created image of love.

Iniquity always affects the way we love. There is soooooo much more I can say on this subject but I want to encourage us all to remember how the word of God says we can deal with iniquity in our day and see real covenant relationships established locally, regionally and globally. Proverbs 16:6 says “by MERCY and TRUTH iniquity (bent, crooked and perverse views of God’s love are purged; and the REVERENCE and RESPECT for the Lord men depart from evil. Christ, who is MERCY and TRUTH did HIS part… now we must practice the same pattern principle of extending mercy on the regular and speaking the truth in love and keep iniquity out so we will always obey and not rebel.

I am thankful to God to have grown up in a church that taught present truth! I was able to learn of the current reformation of the church, which has been highlighted by the restoration of the offices of apostles and prophets to fully functioning capacity in the church. This has been ongoing for more than a decade now. Glory be to God for His goodness to us.

As I studied the ministry gift of apostle to learn how this gift functions, to build and advance the government of God in the earth, I had to look at and LISTEN to those who were referred to as APOSTLES. While listening to one of the greatest apostles outside of Jesus Christ Himself, I was sent on a journey which is liberating many who are unmarried in the church and setting the captives free. There must be reformation to ministry that is called “singles” ministry.

I was challenged, as a young emerging apostle, attending conferences that ministered to Married couples, ministered to families and leaders and left out the largest segment of the church, the unmarried. I had a thought go through my head in a particular meeting which was simply… the unmarried feel like lepers in my house. They deserve to be healed. I was stunned by this thought. I started to pursue those I knew were unmarried and ask them if this was so. To my surprise, many confirmed what I had heard in my spirit.

Six years ago, I was having devotional study and was reading 1Corinthians 7 and got the SHOCK of MY LIFE. The apostle Paul is his letter to the church at Corinth shares some startling thoughts, which in all my years of being in the church have never heard preached ONCE.

He says firstly, It is NOT GOOD for a man to touch a woman. Never heard this preached in ONE church! I guess in our society, it would be blasphemous to preach like this when just about everyone has sex on the brains!!! Of course he goes further to indicate that in order to not be involved in sexual immorality let each man have his own wife and each woman her own husband. Living life without touching a woman. Could this be Kingdom? Paul thought so and promoted it!

The second thing he said that messed me up was in verse 7. For I wish that all men were even as myself. But each one has his OWN GIFT from God, one in this manner and another in that. Paul referred to his marital state, unmarried, as a gift of God. I began to think to myself, if he had this gift, are others born with it too? How does one get faith to operate in their gift from God? Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. but if there is NO TEACHING on this gift and NO HEARING, what happens to those who have it in Jesus’ church? That is another whole story. Paul was unmarried and not unfulfilled. In fact, he is one of the most known persons ever. Could being unmarried be POTENT and fruitful?

Then, I read further and it said in verse 8, But I say to the UNMARRIED and to the WIDOWS: it is good for them if they remain even as I am, but if they cannot exercise self control, let them marry.

That is when the Holy Spirit caused me to HEAR what an Apostolic father was doing in this letter. He continues to address the married AND the UNMARRIED. Then, I had to ask the question, Why did Paul not call them SINGLES? Why do we call the unmarried singles?

Paul functioned from a kingdom pattern which was always connected to covenant. God’s government is connected to covenant principles while fornication deals with no covenant.

Did you know there is nowhere in the bible the unmarried are called singles? Did you know the only place in the word of God that I have found the word single is in Matthew chapter 6:22
and it does not refer to marital status but having an eye that is good or pure.

Have you considered all the categories of unmarrieds in the local church today? The classification of unmarried people in the church is expansive, but never really considered as such: VIRGINS, WIDOWS, DIVORCED, YOUTH and CHILDREN. There are also those who are unmarried with children. Kingdom ministry to the unmarried should touch all believers. Paul as an APOSTLE, was not just concerned about the married but the unmarried too!

From this revelation, God has permitted me to develop a kingdom minded approach to building unmarried adults, youth and young adults with an understanding of covenant which is making better believers at an earlier age. “Singles ministry” in the minds of many in the church does not inspire anything positive. There is an entire culture in society built around being “single” as opposed to being unmarried. I hope you are curious to discover more. We are seeing too many people who were learning to be passionate for God get tricked and led away from God and the church playing with BABYLONS culture called “singles”! Remember the name Babylon means: confusion and mixture.

This is just the beginning… If you are interested in hearing and knowing more.. YOU should plan to either ATTEND or SEND some of your unmarried population of your church to my monthly gatherings for the unmarried or to our conference. It is unique ministry and builds ZION into them not BABYLON!!! Those who have attended them can testify ministry to the unmarried is being reformed.

I have developed a curriculum and pattern for building ministry to the unmarried and as Pastors, Fathers and leaders of flocks you should not ignore this important segment of God’s church!

Most of the time when Love is discussed, 1 Corinthians chapter 13 is used. However, the passage of scripture I used to start my search for the answer is 1 John 4:8, God IS Love. In mathematics, the word IS means equal to. God=Love and Love=God.

Because of this truth, we must now see the truth of the nature of Love (God)… Deuteronomy 7:8-9 God forbade being joined to people who were not covenant keepers. Look at verses 1-4. He(God) is the faithful covenant keeping God! There are no real love relationships apart from covenant. From the beginning of all time, God has joined himself in (covenant) to men. The Kingdom of God functions best by covenant relationships. God, who is Love is the covenant keeping God! Lust does not keep covenant, it benefits itself at the expense of another with NO COMITTMENT!

Moses knew this when Jehovah God(Love) was about to destroy Israel in Exodus 32-33 when Moses asked to see his Glory (Exodus 33:18) I believe the Hebrew word for Glory is kabod, which means the full weight of His character/nature. So what Moses is given a look at is the attributes of what makes a covenant keeper,Moses sees love (God/Love). Here is another truth revealed by Holy Spirit to me. You cannot see LOVE/GOD until you are hidden in the Cleft of the Rock!!! In the New Testament, Christ is the Rock.  This is the place Jehovah place Moses before revealing His full nature. Let me say it again, GOD IS LOVE. All other definitions must be measured by scripture. This is why so many relationships fail. This is why no unbeliever can truly offer anything but selfish love(lust) to those they pursue. The scriptures declare in Colossians 3:3, For ye are dead and your life hid with Christ in God! Sounds like THE ROCK to me.

What Moses sees in Exodus 34 is all that is necessary to have strong covenant relationships and it is what Holy Spirit is at work developing in all king/priests in our day. Exodus 34:6 mercy, graciousness (kindness), patience, truth,
forgiveness and justice.

For all have sinned a come short of GLORY (mercy, truth, patience, kindness, justice, forgiveness… These are all of the very things Christ the new covenant initiator functioned in when dealing with those He was around!!!! Jesus is the King/Priest model for us of covenant.

Without a full understanding of the ministry of the priest and their position of defenders of covenant, we will not understand WHY we are Kings and Priests unto God! Priestly ministry is love ministry.

I have a lot more to say on this matter but, I will pause for now. Don’t let Babylon define Love for you.

As an unmarried person you have an awesome opportunity to develop in your king/priest understanding of covenant to bless all who come into your sphere of influence.

A large part of apostolic ministry is spiritual warfare. In building the church, we will have to contend with spirits that want to destroy the church. In the next several articles I will expose the spirit of Jezebel. I have a different perspective, but I believe it will bless you.

I want to share with you a revelation of Christ given to me to help build the church. It is a revelation of Christ as “a eunuch for the kingdom’s sake”. It will be done in several articles, but I am sure if you read each one they will help you to defeat the covenant breaking spirit of Jezebel operating around your life and possibly attacking the very church you worship in.

In short, the spirit of Jezebel is NOT just some bossy woman who usurps the authority (responsibility) of her husband, but a spirit of satan that teaches people to break their covenant love relationships. The kingdom of God is all about covenant relationships! This misunderstanding of Jezebel has caused much hurt in the body of Christ and devalued the role of women in the service of God in the house of God. The spirit of Jezebel, in a man, is far worse at times in breaking covenant and destroying the church. The way God destroyed Jezebel in her day, is still the way to defeat this destructive spirit in our generation today.

Apostles empowering and emboldening the priestly ministry of covenant keeping unmarried people… can and will destroy this spirit. The spirit of Jezebel is not simply going away. Apostolic believers must enforce the victory Christ, the covenant keeping, covenant defending Son won at Calvery.

In fact every ministry called by Christ to function in reconciling people in covenant relationship to God will have to contend with this spirit that is behind teaching people to break covenant. I believe the Holy Spirit placed, in the context of the literal defeat of queen Jezebel, keys to defeat this spirit today in our generation.

I believe demonic spirits (for example, principalities) are high-ranking spirits that attempt to shape PRINCIPLES of people away from the principles, values and statutes of scripture. The principles of the word of God when practiced should produce a person who values covenant love, one who reconciles relationships and a redeemer of people. All things pertaining to the blessings of God surround being JOINED to God by His words. Words that are associated with covenant are joined, attached, alliances, faithful, loyal, committed, devoted, these are the things the spirit of Jezebel fights against. In fact, this spirit looks for covenants to break up!

I want to look at the ministry of the Christ on another level (the eunuch for the kingdom’s sake) and explore what I believe is a revelation to practically destroy a spirit sent from hell to keep us from Kohat and Hebron, it is the spirit called (Jezebel). I want to offer another perspective on the function of this vile spirit. I want to show you how it can be defeated from our position at the right hand of the Father.

First, I want to introduce you to the gift or function of service that God has raised up to defeat the “spirit of Jezebel”. It is called the priesthood working with the gift of apostle.

There is a three-fold anointing revealed and typified through the priestly line of Levi
1. Levi… the grace to be attached (singular)
2. to Kohat the ability to function corporately (as a congregation) and
3. then on to Hebron the place of joining, alliances and confederations.

It is a priestly anointing. We have heard on several occasions teaching about the Melchisedek priesthood through the course of this school and my heart continues to leap as God has led me to discover more of the ramifications of understanding this order. We will take a practical look at a potent place for all saints to develop in this order.

God our Father has always wanted a people joined to Himself. From the outset of liberating Israel from Egypt, God had a purpose for Israel.

Let me share a few verses of scripture with you Exodus 19:3-6

And Moses went up to God, and the LORD called to him from the mountain, saying, “Thus you shall say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel: ‘You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself. Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.”

Now please look at 1 Peter 2:1-5

Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious. Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 2:9-10

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

It is very clear from looking at the scriptures above, the eternal intent of the Lord. God has always purposed, a company of sons who function from a king- priest dimension. But also from the very outset there has been an attempt to stop this covenant relationship by seducing humanity into fornication.

The war being fought in the kingdom is covenant vs. fornication. Let the warfare begin!

Adam functioned as king/priest
Melchisedek functioned as a king/priest
David functioned as king/priest
Christ functioned as a king/priest
The Body of Christ is supposed to function in the earth as kings and priests!

Without seeing Christ’s ministry in the earth through the eyes of the priesthood is to miss a key component in covenant living. The component I am speaking of is the power of being joined. This is the power that defeats Jezebel.

I want to suggest a new look at Christ’s ministry in the earth and show you the characteristics built in it to overcome the traits that threaten Hebron (alliances and covenant). It is the ability to defeat the spirit of Jezebel by the apostolic anointing covenanting with the unmarried priesthood and throwing her down!

In looking at the kingdom of God and while discussing the most lethal issues and aspects concerning covenant, Jesus releases a saying so potent with protection, many have been afraid to touch it. I believe our generation has been blessed to have this truth opened. We will use it to destroy the works of the devil against Christ’s church.

Matt 19:12

But He said to them, “All cannot accept this saying, but only those to whom it has been given For there are eunuchs who were born thus from their mother’s womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He who is able to accept it, let him accept it.”

Jesus is defending a covenant perspective against those who were not in covenant with the words of His Father fornication. As He is doing so, He speaks from an understanding that signals fierce loyalty. Jesus begins to discuss the ministry of the “eunuch for the kingdom’s sake”; covenant keeping, covenant defending ministry.

I will discuss the priestly ministry of the eunuch and its role in defeating Jezebel in part two of this teaching.
